Thus far, it paved the way for a lanky young man from Imus, Cavite to become Asia’s Pop Idol, and raised a little boy to become today’s hottest “tween†star. Fresh from the resounding success of STAGES’ production of Disney’s “High School Musical On Stage†where he played the lead Troy Bolton, Sam is now busy promoting his debut album under Universal Records. Its first single “Even If†has made it to MYX’s Top Ten countdown. Moreover, Regal Films has signed him on to do a movie while the Department of Education has chosen Sam to be its official spokesperson that will take him on a nationwide campus tour. (more…)
At just 14 years old, Sam has achieved a whole lot! He has a wonderful career. He is famous. But despite that, Sam has kept his feet on the ground and his priorities straight. Education still remains his top priority as he is determined to finish his studies. With all these, Sam has become an epitome of excellence and inspiration for everyone, truly worthy to be the youth’s role model. These are the very same traits that the Department of Education has found in Sam. Thus, Sam is now chosen as the Department of Education’s Youth Role Model and Spokesperson!!! The induction rite was held last September 5, 2007 (5pm) at the Benitez Hall, Teacher’s Camp in Baguio City. The event was attended by around 6,000 students.
Congratulations Sam!! You really deserve all these blessings that are coming your way. You are one great role model to the youth. Keep it up!
